Erica is behind schedule, the pressure is mounting, and she has no idea how to get her trigger-happy heroine—that would be Setena, blonde bombshell, heir to the Garendi throne, and all-around badass—into the arms of her handsome enemy, Xanden, and end the war between their worlds. The first six books came easily, but Erica feels like her connection to the cosmic pipeline has been cut off.
But when Erica wakes to a whirlwind and finds herself on a planet she thought she made up, her deadlines are suddenly the least of her problems. Somehow, a book containing Erica’s writings has appeared in a temple worlds away from home—and Setena has learned of its existence. The princess believes Erica is a prophet, and now the hapless writer is off to war. If Erica can figure out how the story ends, then maybe she can keep them alive.
That is, if she and Setena don’t kill each other first.
